Brandenburg Cathedral Foundation

The Foundation’s assignments include performing church services and caring for the art collection, the premises, the church music and the evangelical schools. Agriculture and forestry have long since been significant branches of economic activity. The Foundation’s agricultural land has been leased; we run the forestry with its sawmill ourselves.

Cathedral Chapter

 

The Cathedral Chapter has always been able to rely on the support of the Bishop in all questions of faith and administration. After the Reformation the Chapter was used by the electors and kings in order to reward commendable subjects. Today the Cathedral Chapter serves as an honorary committee, answering to the presiding Cathedral Dean.
